This video is a demonstration of a few uses of iron-on interfacing: joining pieces of fabric as an alternative to sewing, and attaching conductive fabric to a base fabric, to create flexible conductive traces.

Where to buy?

Hem Size Iron-On interface <– this link is for Amazon, but you can buy hem size iron-on interfacing at any craft store (Michael’s, Joann’s Fabric, etc.) 

  • 3/4″ x 8 yard
  • Good for joining seams. 
  • Super Weight – for heavier fabrics such as; heavy cotton, denim, suede, wool and corduroy. Use Lighter weight for lighter fabrics and inflatables.
  • Double-sided adhesive
  • No sew, simply iron to attach fabrics.

Wide Iron-On Adhesive interface <– this link is for Amazon, but you can buy fabric size iron-on interfacing at any craft store (Michael’s, Joann’s Fabric, etc.) 

  • 17 ” x 1 Yard
  • Good for joining large areas and patches. 
  • For use on fabric, but can be used with a wide range of materials such as foil, lame, felt , suede, cardboard, leather and wood
  • Double-sided adhesive
  • No Sewing needed or used
