The Design Lab is dedicated to sustainability. Currently, we have the following initiatives to ensure our space is creating less waste, and reusing as much as we can!
1. Mend & Make Magic Workshops

The Mend & Make Magic Workshops are a time when you can bring things that require fixing, work with the staff to find creative ways to fix it together!
Pulp to Paper
The IDM Lab recycles paper from the print lab and makes handmade paper, in hopes of cutting down our waste!
Feel free to try out our handmade paper, located in the Lab space.
Give and Take

Finally, the Lab also holds a “Give and Take” shelf where students and faculty can leave supplies they no longer need, and also take anything they may need from the shelf.
