Hands-on Halloween Workshop: paint, light, and finish your own Jack-O’-Lantern!
Get ready to give your 3D prints a glow-up!
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll customize a pre-printed mini Jack-O’-Lantern and learn how to bring it to life with LED lighting and finishing techniques that make 3D prints shine.
You’ll learn how to:
- Connect and power a small LED circuit inside your pumpkin
- Use post-processing tools to smooth, paint, or texture your print
- Understand the 3D printing process and how to prepare your own future files for success
All materials are provided and no prior 3D printing or electronics experience needed.

The laser cutter in the IDM Design Lab is currently out of service. We’re actively working on getting it back up and running as soon as possible and will keep you posted on any updates.
