p5.riso.js is a p5 library for riso printing. It means you can use p5 to create graphics and prepare the color layers for printing. p5.riso object extends the p5 graphics object so that all the graphics functions can be used from the library.
The Risograph prints one color at time. Therefore, your final print files should be separated into individual grayscale images for each color that is to be printed. This is similar to preparing files for screen printing. 100% black in each color layer, will print out as 100% of whichever color you are printing. 90% black will print as 90% and so on.
For images prepared in Photoshop, separate out each color layer or channel into individual grayscale files.
When working with a CMYK file in Photoshop, when your file is ready to print, open the Channels Menu and select Split Channels. This will create new grayscale files, one for each color channel from your template.
The Print Lab has six ink drums with the colors: BLACK, BLUE, GREEN, RED, YELLOW, FLUORESCENT PINK, FLUORESCENT ORANGE.

Meet Frida, the IDM Print Lab’s Risograph!
The Risograph is a stencil duplicator. Think of it as a cross between screen printing and photocopying. The RISO prints one color at a time in bright, vibrant colors. It is ideal for posters, graphic prints, zines, comics, and other graphic arts.
The RISO in the lab is a single drum, only printing one color at a time.

The Brother MFCJ6945DW is an inkjet printer is NOT for printing resumes, thesis drafts, etc.
The printer is intended to be used for coloring printing and printing on speciality inkjet paper for projects and assignments.
For print requests, please prepare your files in these file formats:
JPEG (or JPG), PNG, GIF, TIFF, PSD ,PDF, EPS, AI, INDD, RAW
following the appropriate paper size guidelines.
