Working on schematics in Eagle
This week we learned the basic principals of designing circuits in Eagle.
working on 3 different circuit schematics while trying to achieve the best layouts for milling.
I have to say that although I am not sure I did the best job, it was a lot of fun it’s a little like a puzzle or board game in which you need to find the shortest but best route to get from point A to point B, without hitting a road block or in our case short circuiting.
it is a little tricky in the beginning, I stuck to basic angles and features. I think the fact that I still look at circuits in a visual way and less in a logical way is holding me back but this exercise was definitely beneficial in moving me one step closer to getting that logic.
There was one instance where I got stuck and opted for the easy way out which was to go “underground” with the wiring, I know is not the best option but I couldn’t find another option.
ATTiny 85 board #1
ATTiny 85 board #2
ATTiny 85 board #3
On this last board which is obviously the more complicated of the three, is where I created a Via path (marked by the green holes and the blue wires that are on the bottom layer) this board is a bit of a mess. definitely going to take another stab at it.
