About

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Speech Motor Neuroscience Group at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I received my PhD in Communicative Sciences and Disorders at New York University, where I work with Dr. Adam Buchwald in the Psycholinguistics, Aphasia, and Neuromodulation (PLAN) Lab. My research focuses on speech motor learning and control. The research questions I investigate include: 1) What the content and specificity of the learned speech motor representations are. 2) How linguistic and sensorimotor factors contribute to speech motor learning. 3) How individual differences in speech perception and production abilities interact with speech motor learning.

I also work with Dr. Tara McAllister in the Biofeedback Intervention Technology for Speech (BITS) Lab, where I explore the relationship between speech perception and production as well as explicit sensorimotor adaptation in speech using visual-acoustic biofeedback technology.
