NYU Tandon MakerSpace
NYU Tandon MakerSpace: Fall 2016, NYU Tandon opened a 10,000-square-foot MakerSpace filled with cutting-edge tools for students and scholars from across campus to go from product idea into working prototype. The MakerSpace provides an exceptional project-based learning environment that offers that opportunity for the students to design and fabricate devices. This MakerSpace includes a machine shop, in addition to the existing machine shop in NYU’s Department of Physics, that allows students to fabricate components (e.g., metal compression fittings) for laboratory experiments.
