Learn quantum programming from the best! These live lessons from qWorld will consist of a one-hour online session each evening for five days. There will also be homework assignments, the last of which will be due on Monday, September 18.

Did you do well on your assignments and demonstrate that you can tackle a project in quantum computing? If so, you will receive an invitation to proceed with the actual hackathon!

Sat, Sep 23 – Sun, Sep 24
This two-day in-person kickoff session will consist of talks from folks in the industry, as well as a training session on how to use qBraid, the programming tool that you’ll be using to write your programs. You will also meet with your teammates and mentors to work on your idea generation process, as well as get a chance to speak to industry leaders in the AQ space. The talks in the morning are in Pfizer Auditorium, while lunch and idea generation will be in the Eventspace. Here is the agenda for the weekend.

Get to work! This is when you and your team will tackle the problem you chose to solve during the kickoff, using quantum programming. To help you along the way, your team’s mentor(s) will be available for regular online meetings over the course of the week.
Sat, Sep 30
It all leads up to this final day, when your team gets to showcase its work and potentially win a prize! Attendance is in person at 370 Jay Street, Room 202. You will be able to polish up your presentations in the Eventspace that morning. Lunch and coffee will be provided for hAQers and mentors.
Please make sure that the above time commitments work with your schedule before registering. This event will be a lot of fun and an incredibly valuable experience, but it will require you to work hard and be very focused!
