Salary: $55,000 – $80,000
Job Summary: Memor Museum, a prominent institution specializing in the promotion and exhibition of Asian art and culture, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant to the President. This role provides high-level administrative support to the President, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and contributing to the successful delivery of the museum’s mission. The Assistant will be involved in scheduling, communication management, and coordinating projects and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the President, including calendar management, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Communication Management: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring timely and clear correspondence.
- Project Coordination: Support the President in managing museum projects, including exhibitions, events, and collaborations with artists, curators, and external partners.
- Event Support: Assist in coordinating private events at the museum, liaising with clients, vendors, and event planners to ensure seamless event execution.
- Travel Arrangements: Coordinate travel plans, including booking flights, accommodations, and preparing itineraries for the President.
- Collaboration & Team Support: Work closely with other team members to support ongoing museum activities, exhibitions, and public relations efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or assistant role, preferably in a museum, gallery, or cultural institution.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual of English and Mandarin Chinese
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with event planning and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with database software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A deep interest in Asian art and culture is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of the art and culture sector, particularly Asian art and exhibitions.
