Job Summary
The Registrar is an integral member of the administrative team and Education department at WCS, providing customer service support for all educational programming. This position reports to the Manager of Education and supports the sales of education programming at the five zoos and aquarium. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to provide quality customer service in our high-volume call center. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for succeeding in this role.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of all of the details of education programs and policies for WCS programs at our five parks.
- Book education programs: enter booking information, conduct quality control, send confirmations and invoices.
- Engage in direct sales of education programs to potential and current clients.
- Categorize payments accurately (grants, credit cards, cash, purchase orders)
- Communicate effectively with clients: provide program details, cancellation information, program policies, and payment information
- Collaborate effectively with WCS staff about program administration including scheduling instructors, updating staff about booked, canceled or rescheduled programs, developing program rosters, and sharing client communication with the teams.
- Process payments as needed.
- Respond to daily emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
- Provide high quality customer service to all clients.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent telephone manner a must.
- Highly organized and able to plan, multitask, and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating and communicating effectively with others in a team setting.
- Ability to respond and adapt to new or changing situations with a calm demeanor and positive attitude.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in 11icrosoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of administrative experience and/ or office management.
