Digitization Fellowship – Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights – Nov. 30

My name is Brendan Nguyen and I work at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights. We are currently in the midst of planning for a large project focused on Robert F. Kennedy’s legacy. This project entails the identification, digitization, and cataloging of historic materials pertaining to Robert F. Kennedy’s life and career. These digitized materials will then be incorporated into our website and made available to students, scholars, and other public audiences.

We have secured funding to hire one fellow to support this initiative and I am reaching out to you in hopes that you can circulate the job description with your students in the Museum Studies program at NYU. The foundation that is providing us with the funding is committed to diversity in the non-profit space and would like to see a student from a minority background placed into this position.

“This world demands the qualities of youth; not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the life of ease.”

Robert F. Kennedy, Cape Town, 1966
