20×200 is Looking for an Art Archivist Intern
20×200 is the pioneering online art company that sells a curated collection of limited-edition, museum-quality prints, and artworks by emerging, established and legendary artists. It’s art for everyone!
We’re looking for an Art Archivist Intern to work with our small-but-mighty team. Applicants must be able to receive school credit—a Metrocard and lunch stipend are provided. The role will require approximately 10 hours per week / 40 hours per month, with the potential for additional hours. We have some flexibility when it comes to the spread of hours over the workweek, but we’d love for candidates to be able to commit to at least a 6-month internship period. Candidates must also be able to commute to our HQ in Dumbo, and confidently navigate the city with art in-hand. As with all 20×200 internships, there’s potential for advancement and/or for the position to evolve into an ongoing part-time paid role.
20×200 is a woman-owned, independent business that’s been around for over a decade. Our Art Archivist Intern will work primarily out of our NYC HQ, where almost all of our art is archived and shipped from. The right person for this role is hyper-organized, thrives on creating (and maintaining!) order, and is a stickler for getting the details exactly right. Candidates must be super conscientious and reliable.
If you’re passionate about the convergence of art and technology and want to be part of a dedicated team that makes art collecting accessible to everyone, this could be a perfect fit. Art world experience is a plus!

Archiving, cataloging, and filing art print inventory

-
Managing and systematizing Certificate of Authenticity storage
-
Developing improved archiving and organizational systems
-
Providing a range of web/digital production assistance
-

We’re looking for someone who:
-
Can receive school credit
-
Is available in NYC for ideally a 6-month+ internship period for approximately 10 hours each week
-
Is organized, detail-oriented, and a master of multitasking
-
Is proactive, adaptable, enthusiastic, able to work independently and eager to assist our team in any way possible
-
Really cares about what we’re doing and has a background (or at least a keen interest) in fine art, photography and/or design
