(P/T, Temp) Journal Project Assistant at ISAW, NYU

ISAW seeks two Journal Project Assistants who will provide research and general support to Prof. Woolf for spring 2026, with the possibility of continuing through summer and fall 2026. This work can be done on-site or remotely within the US.

Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of Roman Archaeology and the preparation of manuscripts for publication are highly preferred.

Evaluation: The Journal Project Assistants will provide updates as needed to the professor. The professor will review the work product, provide feedback and meet with the student if there are questions to ensure the project is complete and satisfactory.

Hourly positions (bargaining unit eligible): In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base salary range for student employment positions are $16.50-$18 per hour for undergraduate students and $30 per hour for graduate students. The hourly rate for graduate employees is based on the collective bargaining agreement with Local 2110**
