Internship & Volunteer Opportunities at Merchant’s House Museum

Hope you’re well as the new semester approaches!

 

I’m writing because we are in particular need of interns (or volunteers!) who are interested in public programming and education this fall and I wondered if you knew of any students who might fit the bill for a public-facing role. We are super flexible with timing, but looking for someone who might have (at minimum) Wednesday or Friday availability in the afternoons.

 

We can offer a full internship for the fall semester, but if there are students who have more limited availability and are interested, we’d also love to meet with them. (I know there may be students whose schedule doesn’t allow for a time-consuming internship, but might be interested in a volunteer gig one afternoon a week.) 

 

We’re also more than happy to work with students (whether volunteer or intern) to provide training or advice, if they have specific skills they want to learn to be able to add to their resume.
