The Visitor, Volunteer, Intern and Business Engagement (VVIBE) Office at the National Museum of American History (NMAH) invites applications for a Visitor Business Program Manager. 

The VVIBE Office supports visitor services, amenities, revenue-generating activities, NMAH’s Internship Program and Fellowship programs, and ensures streamlined onboarding and training are provided to NMAH interns, fellows, and volunteers.

This position is responsible for all aspects of visitor business-program management at NMAH; managing existing efforts, identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and developing new and unique strategies and partnerships to align business programs with NMAH’s strategic, interpretive, and financial goals.

The incumbent will be required to work at least two (2) weekend days per month, to align with program times and peak visitation, as well as some evenings and holidays.

This is a full-time, indefinite, Trust (non-Federal) position at IS-13, Step 1. The starting salary is $117,962 with an excellent benefits package.

Competitive candidates will have experience with business program management, knowledge of financial management processes, the ability to conduct market studies and develop projections for business activities, and the ability to provide recommendations to leadership to inform decision-making related to revenue-generating activities.
