2024 Soane Foundation Fellowship
Study Soane’s Legacy in London 2024 Graduate Fellowship
The Soane Foundation Graduate Fellowship is a $10,000 prize awarded annually by the Sir John Soane’s Museum Foundation for travel and research related to any aspect of Sir John Soane’s career, museum, and collections. Recipient is granted privileged access to the Soane Museum, its collections, and its extensive archives, with a dedicated workspace at the Museum.
Candidates should be enrolled in a graduate program, preferably a doctoral degree program, in the fields of history of art, architecture, decorative arts, interiors, landscape design, and antiquities. The fellowship was established to support the Foundation’s mission to foster knowledge and appreciation of the Soanean tradition in art and architecture in the United States and abroad.
Submission Requirements
• Completion of the Fellowship Application
• Three letters of recommendation
• Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program or within one year from degree
Timing
• March 1, 2024 Submission of application
• April 15, 2024 Announcement of award
• Summer 2024 Expected date of research in London
