This 10-month fellowship supports a scholar who completed their formal training and received their final degree or certificate at least one year before the start of the fellowship. The fellow, who should have a strong record of accomplishment within their field, will be in residence at the New-York Historical Society to work on a research project that makes use of resources and collections at the Society. There is no restriction relating to age or academic status of applicants. Foreign nationals are eligible to apply if they have lived in the United States for at least three years immediately preceding the application deadline. The fellowship will carry a stipend of $50,000, plus benefits; it begins September 3, 2024, and lasts through June 30, 2025.
