Position involves:
Organizing and coordinating conservation activities related to NMAH exhibits and loans. Performing highly skilled work in the preservation, care, and storage of museum artifacts. Objects treated by the department for exhibition incorporate a wide range of materials, such as metal, wood, paint, plastic, textiles, paper, and other organic and inorganic substances. Supervising Conservation staff by assigning tasks, creating a team-based environment, and managing schedules and priorities.
Requirements

Starting salary GS-12 – $94,199 annual, plus benefits
