The Indian Arts Research Center (IARC) at the School for Advanced Research (SAR) offers two paid nine-month internships to recent college graduates, current graduate students, and junior museum professionals. The IARC works with interns to achieve individual professional goals and provide broad-based training in the field of museology. Internships include a salary, free housing and utilities, a book allowance, the cost of one professional conference, and reimbursable travel to and from SAR.

One internship is open to an Indigenous individual from the U.S. or Canada, and the other is open to any U.S. or Canadian citizen meeting the application requirements.
