Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Evaluation Consultant at our headquarters office in McLean, VA. This position will support NASA’s workforce experience activities for students grades K-16 with a STEM focus.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of a career learning/workforce development internship program that engages students, educators, and faculty, with a special emphasis on recruitment to those from underrepresented and underserved groups, in authentic NASA learning opportunities.
  • Support student-authored and independently conceived graduate research proposals.
  • Receive and review applications and aid in the selection of participants.
  • Develop metrics and success measures and provides updates to leadership.
  • Research and develop approaches to increase broader participation, enhance management efficiencies, lower overhead costs, and maximize implementation.
  • Provide recommendations to leadership based on research, best practices, and data analysis.
  • Providing evaluation technical support to team members.
  • Perform special projects as requested.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • 6 years of work experience
  • Ability to develop a variety of written and presentation-based work products and deliverables
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to travel to and work on client sites as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
