About:
The Peabody Essex Museum, one of the largest and most dynamic art museums in the nation, is seeking a full-time Development Coordinator for Stewardship. Reporting to the Director of Stewardship and East India Marine Associates, the successful candidate will serve as the primary support for the museums annual leadership giving program, East India Marine Associates (EIMA) and Stewardship programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the monthly renewal process for our EIMA leadership donors;
- assisting with the fulfillment of EIMA membership materials and managing the acknowledgment process;
- manage and maintain the data integrity in Tessitura for EIMA and Stewardship plans and strategy;
- extracting lists for solicitation and acquisition campaigns;
- reporting on EIMA membership and stewardship metrics; coordinate stewardship mailings and track in Tessitura;
- manage a specific portfolio of annual fund, top tier membership and EIMA prospects to identify and cultivate their interest in the museum to successfully meet annual EIMA goals, objectives and metrics for philanthropic support.
Requirements:
- College degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Prior membership experience working for a cultural organization preferred.
- Experience with Tessitura and Tess Analytics is preferred along with strong organizational, interpersonal and writing skills.
- The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail, an understanding of reports to represent data, and the ability to work independently and multitask while maintaining deadlines.
- Occasional evenings and/or weekend hours are required.
