Thursday 2/17: 1:30-8pm
Friday 2/18: 1:30-8pm
Friday 2/25: 1:30-8pm
Saturday 2/26: 11:30-8:30pm
The Gallery Sitter’s role is to ensure the safety of the artwork on view, and communicate to visitors anything that is off limits (such as touching an artwork or walking behind an artwork). Gallery Sitters will be provided a checklist for items to tidy throughout the day, as some objects are to be used by visitors, and must be reset after their departure. Gallery sitters will direct visitor questions to the staff at the front desk.
-$20/hr rate, 30 minute unpaid lunch
-Sitter submits an invoice for payment after shift.
-Must have a negative PCR test dated within 7 days of the shift. SI will pay you for the time it took to take the test, add it to your invoice.
-The building has three levels of gallery spaces, and the Gallery Sitter will rotate through the spaces during the shift.
-Each floor has video/audio/noise components playing.
