(Part-time) Membership Sales Associate at the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum

Job Title: Membership Sales Associate

Job Status: Part-time

Salary: $15/hr


JOB SUMMARY:

The Membership Sales Associate is a member of the development team that provides customer service in a fun, fast-paced work environment. The Membership Sales Associate sells memberships, museum admission tickets, and event tickets. The Membership Sales Associate provides back office support and membership benefit fulfillment support.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in all aspects of customer service including:
  1. Staffing of the Admissions Desks
  2. Staffing of the Information Desk
  3. Sales of event, group, and pre-paid ticketing

SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Data entry of membership dues payments, donations, and constituent information
  • Provide support and staffing for special membership events, facility rentals, promotional activities, group visits, Hall of Fame Classic Game, Hall of Fame Induction Weekend, and other Hall of Fame events as needed.
  • General clerical work including filing, folding, fulfillment, packaging, and local delivery.
  • Phone and email inquiry support and responding to written and verbal communication with participants in the Museum’s Membership program
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Director of Membership

AVAILABILITY

Be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings where necessary and , on occasion, when you are asked to report to work to help support the Museum.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time and some light lifting up to 50 lbs as required.

TYPICAL EQUIPTMENT USED:

Computers and software applications including admissions sales and development database, web-based applications, telephones, two-way radios, photo copiers, and printers.
