Gallery Intern – Andrew Edlin Gallery
The internship position affords an opportunity for students and recent graduates to work in a fast-paced creative environment, gain valuable skills within an art world setting, and garner experience related to daily gallery operations. Responsibilities include research, archiving, database management, administrative assisting, writing and providing assistance during monthly exhibition openings, art fairs, and other events. In addition, interns will be tasked with specific projects based on their individual interests, when applicable.
Ideal candidates should be articulate, well organized, self-motivated, adaptable, with a willingness to learn, and have an educational background in Art History, the Visual Arts, or a related field. Familiarity with contemporary art and Outsider Art is a plus.
Applicants must be fluent in the Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using Mac computers. Experience with Adobe Suite/Photoshop preferred.
