2021 Internship Applications—Join a Virtual Information Session
Internship applications open December 15The Preservation Scholars Program is administered by the Friends of the Texas Historical Commission and is offered in partnership with the Texas Historical Commission (THC). The program places undergraduate and graduate students who identify as part of an underrepresented ethnic and/or cultural group in a ten-week, paid summer internship with the THC.

The virtual information sessions will provide details about the types of projects students will work on, networking opportunities, and overall learning experience students can expect. The application process is competitive and open to students with varied and nontraditional academic backgrounds. We encourage all interested applicants to register for one of the three information sessions to learn more about the application process and eligibility requirements.
