Development Internship – Art21

The Development Internship will run from September 28 – December 18, 2020. The deadline to apply is September 11. Art21’s Development intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the development team on special events and projects related to the fundraising activities of the organization. The intern will assist in the production and execution of virtual special events, including fundraising and membership programs. In addition, the intern will perform various short- and long-term projects including donor research, maintaining the supporters database, drafting grant proposals and reports, helping to design various outreach and marketing materials, and providing support with administrative tasks.

Applicants should have strong writing and research skills, as well as a high attention to detail. The Art21 Development Internship will provide relevant skills and experience to individuals seeking a position in fundraising at an arts non-profit organization.

This internship will be conducted remotely and applicants should be prepared to provide their own computer, equipt with video conferencing capabilities, for the duration of the internship. Undergraduate and graduate applicants from outside New York City are encouraged to apply. Please note that Art21 works in the EST zone. Selected candidates will be asked to work hours from 10 am to 6 pm EST. Interns are asked to commit to two days every week.
