exploring its historic origins in the borough of Queens, through art, fashion,

Project: Collections management projects in the Costume and Accessories Departments
at the Museum at F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology) and
conduct curatorial research on “Food and Fashion”

Project: Develop interpretive and interactive projects and programming for
“Beyond the Horizon: Design for Different Futures” (Fall 2019)
Dates: June – August (flexible)
Morgan Library & Museum, New York
Project: Conduct and organize research in preparation for a forthcoming collection-based photography
exhibition concerning specific stages and facets of the creative process of the medium
Dates: June 1 – July 31
Eligibility: Applicants must be:
- female students enrolled in a graduate program in the visual arts
- from a racial/cultural/ethnic background underrepresented in the field
- seeking career opportunities in the visual arts professions
- have U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status, and/or a current student visa
- be able to commit to 8-consecutive week period specified by each institution
- currently enrolled in a program and/or have graduated within the past six months
Stipend: $3,000
