Dear Colleague,
Greetings from the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden! The Museum, which is a historic building in New York City, built in 1799, presents the story of the Mount Vernon Hotel and interprets the 19th-century time period in New York and American history, focusing in particular on the 1820s and 1830s.
The Museum is pleased to announce two William Randolph Hearst Fellowships for Summer 2019, for undergraduate or graduate students interested in American Studies, U.S. History, Museum Studies, or Education.
The Hearst Fellows will conduct original research about NY history, work as interpreters, and assist with summer children’s programs.
For more information, please look at this page on the Museum’s website: http://www.mvhm.org/get-involved/, and then select “Fellowships” from the left-hand menu. Please also see details in the attached application and share with your colleagues, students and friends.
