Assistant Curator, Museum of Public Relations (Intern) – Paid 1127405
The Museum of Pubic Relations is a 501(c)3 non profit, educational institution chartered by the State of NY Dept of Education. It is the world’s ONLY such Museum, and as such, is growing in popularity within the PR industry and with PR students around the world. Students majoring in Museum Studies with an interest in history museums will have an opportunity to create exhibits of from a growing collection of precious artifacts; digitize century old materials; create online exhibits; produce special exhibits (e.g.: Black PR History Month); serve as a tour-guide for students and international researchers; maintain three social media channels for 10k followers; organize and promote special events for students and professionals. The Museum has a growing international reputation, and several organizations around the world are now seeking to build similar museums reflecting their local PR histories. Interns will work with these organizations to support their endeavors under our current guidelines.
