The Gallery Intern would also have the opportunity to work for the Outsider Art Fair (New York and Paris editions). The intern’s role is flexible, depending on their specific interests.

Andrew Edlin Gallery is currently looking for highly motivated graduate-level interns for Fall 2018 season.
 
The internship position affords an opportunity for students to work in a fast-paced creative environment and garner experience related to daily gallery operations. Responsibilities include research, archiving, database management, administration, organization and providing assistance during exhibition openings and other events. Interns will also be tasked with specific projects based on their individual interests, when applicable. 
 
Interns will also have the opportunity to work with the Outsider Art Fair for the Paris 2018 edition and the New York 2019 edition. Interns will help with research projects, operations, and social media marketing strategy for the fairs.
 
Ideal candidates should be articulate, well organized, self-motivated, adaptable, with a willingness to learn, and an educational background in Fine Art or Art History.
 
Applicants must be fluent in the Microsoft office suite and comfortable using Mac computers. Experience with Adobe suite preferred. 
 
We are conducting interviews immediately and looking for interns to begin early September and commit to a minimum of two days a week for a minimum of three months.
