Assistant Curator, CLACS/NACLA Photojournalism Exhibit | short term project, summer 2018
The Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies and the policy analysis journal NACLA Report on the Americas
are partnering to create an exhibit showcasing photos from NACLA’s extensive photojournalism archives on the occasion of NACLA’s 50th year anniversary.
This position will work with the CLACS Director to:
- Develop exhibit catalogue
- Work with archivist of NACLA archvies; secure permissions and rights
- Coordinate printing and framing of photos
- Generate copy for photos
- Assist with Exhibit opening and related publicity
To apply, you must be a *currently enrolled* student at NYU (grad or advanced undergrad). Unfortunately recent graduates are not eligible.
Terms: 25-30 hours/week @ 17/hour for minimum 6 weeks. Beginning as soon as the position is filled; some flexibility is possible.
