Year-long contract position – Curatorial – Latino Art – Smithsonian Am. Art Museum – April 30

Attached you will find information about an available year-long contract position in Latino Art at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. This is an entry level position meant to give experience to a museum professional with expertise in Latino art and an interest in curatorial. The position is slated to last one year (June/July 2018 – June/July 2019) but may be extended based on available funding and performance. The main project the chosen contractor will focus on is SAAM’s upcoming exhibition ¡Printing the Revolution! Chicano Graphics from the Civil Rights Era to the Present. The contractor is required to work on site in Washington D.C.
