Summer Internship – Hispanic Access Found. and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Svc. – Feb. 28

I hope this message finds you well. I work with Hispanic Access Foundation, a national nonprofit that connects Latino communities with resources and opportunities. We’re thrilled to announce the US Fish & Wildlife Service Internship Program for Summer 2018: Connecting Latinos with Natural Resource Conservation Fields

These internships are for students that have a strong interest or relevant experience in natural resource management, wildlife management, interpretation, biology, community outreach, and/or environmental education.

We’d like to ask for your help in sharing this opportunity with talented students who would like to intern with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. This coming summer of 2018, the Wallkill River & Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuges will host an intern to provide environmental education and community outreach with the local Latino community in NJ and NY.

I attached our program flyer with additional program details, including intern benefits and time-frame. You may also visit the application website, www.hispanicaccess.org/usfws. Applications are due on March 12, 2018.

Please encourage potential candidates to contact me by e-mail with any questions they may have regarding the program. We appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity with students you think would be interested and excited about this opportunity.

Thank you!
