Internships – Aperture Foundation – Jan. 29

My name is Emily Stewart and I am writing from Aperture Foundation, a multi-platform, non-profit photography organization that publishes photobooks and a quarterly magazine, teaches visual literacy to kids in NYC, and hosts exhibitions, workshops and lectures.

At Aperture, we offer internship opportunities for motivated individuals who are eager to enter the photography and publishing communities. Through hands-on experience in one of the foundation’s various departments, Work Scholars will learn about the foundation’s history and contribution to photography; work alongside Aperture editors, publishers, and educators to achieve department goals; attend gallery tours, educational lunches, and various field trips; and understand the business operations essential to a non-profit.

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2018. If you have any students or recent alumni who might be interested, I would appreciate if you could please pass along this information and direct them to our website to learn more about the positions available and application requirements for each department: aperture.org/internships. I also appreciate any suggestions on how best to reach out to students directly about this opportunity.

If you have any questions about the program or about Aperture please let me know, I’d be happy to help!

Warm regards,
Emily
