The Registrar’s Office of the Brooklyn Museum is looking to host an intern for the spring semester, information and application link below.

Registrarial Research Intern

Project Description:

This position entails a review of the exhibition loan history of the Brooklyn Museum, identifying and reconciling instances where lender information is lacking in our collections database (TMS).

Skills / experience that will be acquired through the internship:

This project provides robust training in the TMS collections management system interface and hands on experience with museum archives. Students interested in museum registrarial work or cultural collections information management will benefit greatly.

9-13 hours/week

Desired Experience / Area of Study:

A basic affinity for archival research and records management is preferred. Students in Library Science, Archives and Preservation, Museum Studies, and Art History programs are encouraged to apply.
