Established contemporary sculptor with a 30+ year career working in mixed media is seeking an Intern for summer 2017. The Intern will experience a fast paced studio environment, be able to work directly with the artist, and gain new skills. For more details please see description below.

Part-time Studio Office Intern will work with Archivist and Registrar on organizing and maintaining artist archives that span over three decades. Specific tasks include scanning and organizing paper files and press, organizing digital files according to established studio archival practices, updating database and building a visual archive of artist’s work.

Candidate must be thorough, diligent, and cautious with materials, and enjoy long-term projects that require a meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping. Those with Photoshop and scanning experience and archival / administrative backgrounds in the visual arts preferred.

2-3 days per week, 8am – 4:30pm. Up to $15.00 a day in travel expenses will be reimbursed.
