Ahead of this year’s University commencement ceremony, get to know the guest of honor, Elizabeth Alexander! She taught poetry at Yale for fifteen years before joining the faculty at Columbia University, where she currently teaches in the Department of English and Comparative Literature, and, she is the president of the Andrew W.
