Campus News: Congratulations to Department of Journalism Alumnus who have Received the 2018 Gerald Loeb Award

Congratulations to Ed Silverman (MA’ 1988) and Charles Rollet (BER’ 2018) for winning the 2018 Gerald Loeb Award, one of the highest honors in business journalism submitted to by major publications and new outlets nationwide.

Ed Silverman, who works at The Boston Globe’s STAT health news site, received the Gerald Loeb Award for Commentary for his “Pharmalot View” columns on the pharmaceutical industry.

Charles Rollet, won in the International category as a member of a Wall Street Journal team writing on “China’s Surveillance State.” Charles was a recipient of a Marjorie Deane Fellowship during his studies at NYU.
