The Glucksman Ireland House is thrilled to announce its very first J.J. Lee Summer Research Fellowship. The fellowship, named in honor of recently retired Professor J. Joseph Lee, awards funds to master’s students to aid them in their summer research. Prof. Lee served as the Director of the Glucksman Ireland House for many years and remains involved in its community as an Emeritus professor.
The first recipient of the J.J. Lee Summer Research Fellowship is master’s student Ruby Harris-Gavin, whose research focuses on the forests and landscapes of Ireland, specifically, their history, decline, and cultural impact, and implications for the future.
Congratulations, Ruby!
