“Homecoming” | Fall 2021
Our Fall 2021 issue was built around the theme of “homecoming.” The pandemic, changes in popular culture, and the return of in-person courses have massively impacted student lives. These pieces, solicited from fellow students at NYU, speak to metropolitan life, memory, nostalgia, popular culture, and the relationship between the personal and the political—as they pertain to life back on Washington Square.

Olivia Mermagen, Reviews Editor
Olivia absolutely loves to curl up with a book or go to the cinema and get lost in a film but her real passion lies in writing and creating theatre. When she’s not writing stories for others she likes to have adventures of her own whether that be surfing or skiing or just traveling in general. She also loves to meditate but really dislikes writing bios about herself!
