Newsletter 5/10/23
Hey NYU! Did you miss us? Well, we’re back!
It’s March, which is a huge month for our favorite color: Green(e)! With St. Patrick’s Day coming up, we’re all about going green— whether that be with envy, with recycling, or with disgust for something in culture! This month of women and shamrocks is also the month of our pitch deadline.
Did you leave spring break with an adventure you’re dying to share? Did you go on a deep, soul searching journey? Did you sit on your sofa and binge a TV-show you need an outlet to vent for? Here’s the place to do it!
Your pitch (which we’re really excited for!) and Spring Break are right around the corner: it’s the perfect time to think about what you want to write. Tell us all about it in 400 words (shorter than this email!) by March 19th.
There’s lots to talk about this March, in the “cold” of winter, and we want to hear from you! What are you thinking about? What intrigues you within the constant news buzz?
One thing we love about our students is how we come together as a vibrant NYU community around Washington Square Park (or wherever you may be—near or abroad!); we are all part of the same NYU community. We have fun in the sun all around our campuses.
We’ve compiled a list of our favorite quotes from female authors from Jane Austen to Amanda Gorman. Click here to vote! We’ll post the results in our next newsletter ;))
Welcome to the fourth edition of the Greene Street Review Newsletter! We’re excited to help you explore your passion in writing, while building and contributing to our magazine!
Until Next Time,
Annie & Alejandro
