Action (What is happening?) | Duryodhana and Sakuni are silently climbing into the chariot and being driven away. Duryodhana whines about being humiliated and made a fool of by the Pandava brothers and their wife. He swears to get revenge on Draupadi by too humiliating her in front of a crowd. While he’s rambling on, Sakuni tries to calm him down stating he should not pick a fight with them, their too powerful. | Duryodhana and Sakuni are climbing into their car, bucking up and driving away from the high school pool party. Duryodhana is angrily complaining about how Draupadi rejected his advances in front of everyone, gripping the steering wheel. Duryodhana swears to embarrass her in front of his friends to make up for his own humiliation. Sakuni, his twin sister, goes off on him for his sexist thinking. She tells him Draupadi had every right to decline his advances if she felt uncomfortable or did not like it, for she is a human being, her own woman. Sakuni states that even if he wanted to Draupadi comes from a very rich protective family, that her brother shouldn’t challenge them for his own safety. Duryodhana still swears on revenge as Sakuni tells him to back off, it’s quiet for the rest of the ride. |
Resolution (How is the scene resolved?) | Sakuni gives up trying to tell Duryodhana to not challenge them, they’re too powerful. Duryodhana swears revenge on Draupadi as their both quiet for the rest of the ride. | Sakuni tells her parents what her twin brother, Duryodhana, is up to so that he doesnt hurt Draupadi, for her safety and his. Duryodhana is grounded and told if he does anything to Draupadi he’ll lose everything. |
