Last Tuesday, NYU Sydney students were taken on a guided tour through the Kings Cross and Darlinghurst areas of the city in order to explore the LGBT history of Sydney. The tour discussed the significance of Sydney’s Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, both as an expression of rights, but also as an expression of Sydney’s identity.
