Submit

You are invited to share your story on how COVID-19 has affected your habits around food, including shopping, preparation, consuming, disposing of, etc. This could include photos or written descriptions, observations, feelings, or thoughts about food and the food system during the pandemic. Though we are focussing on the experience of those living in NYC, everyone is welcome to submit! Through these types of photos and stories, future generations will be able to view your piece in history as they learn about the every day realities of living through this global crisis.

Examples include: Photos of notices and signs from restaurants in reference to COVID-19, photos of grocery stores, farmers markets, food banks, photos of your cooking process, your finished meals, and food in your fridges and pantries; written pieces about food insecurity, food in relation to anxiety, comfort, or family, your experiences with grocery shopping, delivery services; shopping lists, emails, texts, and other social media postings.
