A chronological sort of the motion pictures that have digital surrogates from the Library of Congress, each available on MEP Mediathread platform. Most but not all are from the Paper Print Collection. Many are also on the web in various places, ranging from YouTube to the Internet Archive (archive.org) to a variety of Library of Congress web spaces. Of course the video version you see in the MEP project may well differ from other copies of the movie you find elsewhere (online, on DVD, in archives). Also, remember that we have collected other LOC early cinema works from other websites (mostly YouTube and LOC.gov) and added those to the class MEP project. Those additional titles are not on the list below.
