Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL)
Studying the effectiveness of teaching and learning is critical to continued pedagogical innovation. Through the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL), faculty engage in the systematic evaluation of their teaching methods, as informed by previous SoTL research. In order to contribute to this growing body of knowledge, researchers share their findings with a growing community of teacher-scholars through peer-reviewed journals and professional organizations.
Our office provides consultations and assistance to faculty at all stages of the research process for SoTL projects. We can also put you in touch with other research supports available at NYU.
