Counseling Services for Students — Counseling and Wellness Services (CWS) offers students short-term individual counseling, group counseling, self-improvement classes, referrals, and psychiatric medication services. All services except psychiatric services are free of charge.

NYU Connect — NYU Connect is a student success platform that enables faculty, advisors, and student services professionals to ensure students in need get connected to campus resources. Faculty can raise/view a flag (alert) or kudos for any student. They can access NYU Connect from their class rosters or grade rosters in Albert.

NYU Student Emergency Fund — The NYU Student Emergency Fund assists NYU students by providing financial support when they need assistance with unexpected, unforeseen, and unavoidable emergency expenses surrounding situations such as accidents, illness, death of a family member, fire damage or need for immediate short-term housing.

Student Health Center — NYU’s Student Health Center (SHC) is a campus resource and service center for all matriculated students. It offers appointment-based and walk-in medical and counseling services at either no cost or very reduced cost to all NYU students, regardless of insurance coverage.

Student Success — Learn more about tools that help students engage with academic support, individualized counseling, and technological resources to help them make the most of their studies and coordinating emergency aid for students.

Wellness Exchange — Students can call (212) 443-9999, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to speak with a professional who can help to address day-to-day challenges as well as other health-related concerns.

Writing Center — Here, any NYU student can work closely with Expository Writing Program faculty and experienced peer tutors at every stage of the writing process and on any piece of writing except for exams.
