Kang Liu obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from New York University in May 2021. He was the recipient of the Ernst Weber Fellowship for his Ph.D.program. He received the MESc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, in 2015, from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. Before joining NYU, he was a software engineer in Evertz Microsystems Ltd., Burlington, Canada. His research interests include machine learning security and privacy.
