10:30AM – Private Tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
Join us for a special tour of Juan de Pareja: Afro-Hispanic Painter with Vanessa K. Valdés, exhibition co-curator and Associate Provost for Community Engagement and Professor of Spanish and Portuguese at The City College of New York. Due to capacity restrictions, this tour will be limited to 13 attendees. Registration for this event is now closed.
2pm – Networking Across the Consortium (and Beyond) at the KJCC (53 Washington Square South)
We will gather in the library of the KJCC (second floor) for brief presentations of new initiatives and programs by faculty in the Consortium and other New-York-area universities. We will then have a reception, offering the opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues and explore the current KJCC exhibition, Nadia Huggins, Coral & Ash.
