Effective Leadership: Leading Multi-PI Research Teams and Centers

We are pleased to invite you to the third workshop in the Effective Leadership Series: Leading Multi-PI Research Teams and Centers.

This session features a panel of NYU faculty who have successfully scaled their research programs to lead multi-PI research teams and centers.

Speakers:

  • Kristie Patten – Counselor to the President and Lead PI of Steinhardt’s Nest Project, Co-PI NSF Making Mentors.
  • Laure Zanna – Professor of Mathematics at the Courant Institute, Lead PI of M2LINES and the Climate Process Team, and Co-PI of LEAP.
  • Melody Goodman – Interim Dean of Global Public Health and Founding Director of the Center for Antiracism, Social Justice, and Public Health.
  • Miguel Modestino – Donald F. Othmer Associate Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, Director of the Sustainable Engineering Initiative, and Co-PI of DC-MUSE.

🔹 The workshop will be moderated by Nina Gray, Associate Vice Provost for Research.
